Larry Cherubino's McLaren Vale Shiraz bursts with blueberry and blackberry flavors, exuding a plump, juicy character with savory spice notes and supple tannins. Sourced from Hancock La Colline and Harris vineyards with vines aged between 30 to 50 years, the grapes undergo hand-picking and minimal intervention winemaking techniques. Fermented with various yeasts and aged for 12 months in new and seasoned French barriques, the wine showcases complexity and depth. Bottled in October 2019, this Shiraz boasts 14.0% alcohol and is suitable for cellaring for 10-15 years. Notable accolades include gold medals in Perth and Cowra, along with high ratings from esteemed critics such as Ken Gargett, James Suckling, and James Halliday.
