NV Ca'del Bosco Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige Edizione 43

Franciacorta is considered the Champagne of Italy, an Extra Brut, reserve blend of 84% Chardonnay, 14% Pinot Nero and 2% Pinot Bianco, three quarters of which comprises of the 2018 vintage.

The process of making Franciacorta to Ca'del Bosco standards is long and extensive. The grapes are hand-picked, sorted and chilled. The bunches are run through a 'berry spa' that soaks and dries the grapes before pressing. The grapes ferment for 7 months in temperature controlled steel tanks. The wines are aged on lees for a minimum of 2 years (Edizione 43 had 25 months) before disgorgement. Each bottle is marked with a unique identifier.
