The Silkman duo say that this oh-so Australian blend of Shiraz and Pinot Noir was a Hunter Valley speciality about 80 years ago, and it's hard to see why it ever left! Fortunately, the mix is making a comeback among the new crowd of winemakers from the Hunter, following in the footsteps of Australian wine pioneers like Maurice O'Shea.

It's an effortless combo of the rich chocolate and blueberry flavours of juicy Aussie Shiraz with the red-fruited, earthy tones of Pinot. A vibrant, pulpy blend that lovers of either grape will adore.
