Wildflower Brewing St Florence Semillon 2024 Ale 750ml

In their words - St Florence is an ale made with white wine grapes. It is named for Bernadette and Topher’s eldest daughter.

St Florence: Semillon, M&J Becker was made by blending barrel aged golden mixed culture fermentation ale with 275kg of organic handpicked, whole bunch Semillon from the Ablington vineyard in Pokolbin, NSW. After a five month maceration and refermentation of fruit and beer, it was bottled and allowed to naturally carbonate and mature before release.

The label artwork was done by Flo's mum, Bernadette.

Nemesia's tasting notes: On the nose, it leads with green table grape, lychee and pear, met with textbook Wildflower yeast character and a honeysuckle floral note. On the palate, honey and gentle tropical fruits. Acid lends a delightfully cleansing finish, with some oak woven in there too. A drink very true to the grape it represents.
