Vigne di San Lorenzo Campaglione Bianco 2022
100% Trebbiano from the Apennine Mountains, specifically the Brisighella subzone and Montesiepe locality. Grown in marl and calcareous sandstone with sandy loam texture, the wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel and concrete tanks, with five days of maceration on skins. Since 1998, Filippo Manetti has been cultivating and producing organic extra virgin olive oil and wine in Brisighella's rolling hills under the Vigne di San Lorenzo label. The winery's new project extends to Colle Montesiepe, incorporating both Brisighella and Modigliana sub-areas, where the property stands on marl and alluvial sandstone in the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines, an area with a rich history of vine cultivation dating back to around 1,000 BC.
