This Paul’s Lane Pinot Noir from Toolangi is like a silken thread of red hues woven from the heart of Yarra Valley’s coolest slopes. Bright crimson in colour, it entices with lifted aromas of wild strawberry, rose petal, rhubarb and dusty forest spice. The palate is a delicate dance of red cherry, rhubarb and earthy undercurrents; supple tannins, vibrant acidity and a streak of mineral tension keep it elegantly poised. Hand-picked from the old MV6 vines, fermented with a fifty-fifty blend of whole berries and whole bunches, and matured in mostly seasoned French oak, it feels refined yet alive—pure, beguiling Pinot with Yarra typicity and cellaring charm.
