Sato LFDS Les Violettes Pinot Noir 2023

From superstar winemaker Yoshiaki and his wife Kyoko, the La Ferme de Sato (LFDS) vineyard was established in 2016 on an old sheep farm in the sub-region of Pisa. The small planting of 1.3Ha of Pinot Noir is farmed organically, the wine is unfined, unfiltered and vegan friendly.  156 dozen of 2023 released.

Critics thoughts -  "Aromas of al dente strawberries just ready to be picked mingle with hints of citrus and peaches, follow through to a medium body. This shows lovely fluidity, drinkability and finesse, yet the tannins are present with a long linear line at the end. 100% whole-cluster fermentation. Needs a couple of years to come together.
