Samuel Billaud is considered to be one of the select few outstanding producers in Chablis. His wines have a distinctive elegance, balance and complexity that is rarely achieved with such precision. Testament to this is Samuel’s ability to bring out the unique characteristics of each of his fantastic terroirs. The Petit Chablis vineyards are, on average, 30 years of age.

To bottle before the harvest. Vines from 1976 on 41B rootstock, a windy site with some kimmeridgian soil. Pale lemon. A fine classy dry fruit on the nose. Delicious salinity, one of the best examples. Drink from 2025-2027. Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy.
