Pooley Estate Pinot Noir 2025

This brings together Pinot Noir from Pooley’s Coal River Valley vineyards rather than trying to make one site do all the talking. A measured inclusion of whole bunches adds fragrance and lift, while maturation in French oak gives the fruit a fine, unobtrusive frame.

Raspberry, red cherry and wild strawberry form the bright centre, with violet, cedar and a delicate savoury note appearing underneath. The texture is supple but not soft-focus; fine tannin and fresh acidity keep the wine poised right through the finish.
