Polperro Landaviddy Pinot Noir 2023

This 2023 Polperro Landaviddy Lane Pinot Noir is pure cool-climate joy in a glass. Grown on a south-west facing slope at 160 m elevation in Shoreham, Mornington Peninsula, it opens with dark cherry, strawberries, dried rose petals, pine needles and earthy Negroni-like twigs. Silky fine tannins and bright acidity balance the succulent red fruit, exotic spice and a whisper of blood orange rind. Matured 16 months in 30 % new French oak, it’s bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve its expressive purity. Elegant yet impactful—delicious now, and bright for the cellar through 2033.
