Pico Maccario Mia Barbera d'Asti DOCG

A DOCG wine hailing from the rolling hills of Piedmonte with Pleistocene-era fluvial deposits. The Barbera grapes are harvested at optimal maturation, then delicately destemmed, crushed, and macerated for 10-12 days. Aged in stainless steel vats for 9 months and further in bottle for 4 months. The wine showcases a dense, seductive bouquet of fresh cherry, plum, and red berries. Its flavour is complex, well-structured, and harmonious, with a long-lasting finish. The Pico Maccario family are experts in this Piedmont variety, finessing their winemaking to extract delicate tannins, and soft earthy notes.
