Pennys Hill Malpas Road Merlot

This Merlot brings McLaren Vale intensity with structured elegance. From the limestone-sand Bay of Biscay soils of Malpas Road, it bursts with ripe blackcurrant, plum, blueberry, and a savoury lift. Silky yet firm tannins are complemented by smoked earth, cedar spice, black olive, and tobacco undertones. Aged 14–16 months in older French oak, it remains plush and concentrated, finishing long and refined. Approachable now, yet built for 5–8 years of cellar development.
