Paritua 'Red' Bordeaux Blend 2021

Paritua Red begins with low-yielding estate parcels from the Bridge Pa Triangle and a Merlot-led interpretation of the classic Bordeaux family. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc bring line and fragrance, while time in oak draws the components into a deeper, more complete shape.

Black Doris plum, cassis and forest berries fill the centre of the palate. Cedar, cocoa and vanilla sit behind the fruit, and the tannins feel silky but persistent. Generous and dark-fruited, yet held together by the freshness Hawke’s Bay does so well.
