Montalto Pennon Hill Pinot Noir 2025

Winemakers thoughts -  A classic Pennon Hill Pinot Noir showcasing Mornington Pinot Noir at its best. The fruit for the 2025 release comes from a blend of our sub-regional vineyards including Red Hill (30%), Merricks (10%) and Tuerong (60%).

A year of generosity with aromas of red and black cherry, sarsaparilla, cherry cola, summer pudding, baking spice, star anise, and leaf litter with some savoury earthy notes in play.

The palate is refined yet generous boasting cherry, raspberry, blood orange, and chai spice, The ripe tannin and integrated oak is supported by seamless bright acidity to provide a long and savoury finish with classic Mornington Pinot qualities.  Simon Black - Chief Winemaker
