Montalto Estate Chardonnay 2022

This Chardonnay feels like sunshine in a glass—bright citrus meets soft stone fruit bliss. Picked from the home vineyard’s north and south blocks, it bursts with nectarine, white peach, lemon curd, and crème brûlée—whole bunch pressed for elegance. Gently wild‑fermented in French oak (26 % new), it gets nine months on lees with stirring, then finishes with roasted hazelnut and a hint of flint. It’s medium-bodied, textured, and proudly expressive of Mornington Peninsula’s slate and flint. A creamy, savoury beauty that’s complex yet approachable.
