Sourced from hand-picked estate grown fruit from the Bloody Hill vineyard, ideally located in Coldstream, Yarra Valley.  The Bloody Hill range is made and managed by Rivar, Timo's son and talented winemaker in his own right.  10% whole bunch, wild ferment, 6 months in seasoned hogsheads (old oak), unflitered. 

"Sour cherry, a lick of cranberry, raspberry coulis, rose water, squished wild strawberries, some faint nougat and green pepper corn notes. Crisp edges for the squishier textural elements, a cool, peppery, herbal finish. A few rungs up the ladder from rose, really, and good for it." - Mike Bennie (The Wine Front) 93 points
