In their words - Maiselās Weisse Original has a bright reddish amber color and a creamy, fine-pored head. The fresh aroma of fine yeast and pleasant banana notes is combined with the mild spiciness of malt, fruit and clove aromas and a hint of nutmeg. Maiselās master brewers have adhered to the traditional production method of āBavarian noble maturationā for generations. With extra time, the unmistakable aroma of Maiselās Weisse can develop in peace. After the open main fermentation, the yeast is separated and wort and fresh yeast are added again for a second fermentation. Only then is the wheat beer bottled or kegged without pasteurization so that it can continue to mature. This traditional brewing process produces the fine bubbles of carbon dioxide and the desired intense wheat beer aroma that is so typical of Maiselās Weisse.
