Mac Forbes Gladysdale Chardonnay 2022

From the 2022 Villages range, intended to be an expression of terroir across the Yarra's varying subregions. Gladsydale sits at the Southern end of the Yarra below the Yarra Junction in a valley running down toward Gippsland. Warm air increases the moisture content, and clay soils attribute to a full, richly aromatic wine with supple structure and prominent palate weight.

Seductive yellow stone fruits and honeysuckle play on the nose, with just a hint of curd providing intrigue. Generosity on the palate is balanced with bright fresh fruits and a fine silty structure that knits everything together. We recommend decanting this wine prior to serving.
