Latta What-A-Melon Rosé 2024

Made by innovative young wine maker Owen Latta, who has been trawling the vineyards since his teenage days. What-A-Melon is an experimental rolling ferment that changes each vintage.

It is a funky little number that smacks of savoury plum, rose bunches and red apple. An exciting blend of mostly Shiraz, then Sangiovese, with a splash of Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo, organic fruit was sourced from all over; Saddleback,  Moonambel, Coghills Creek and Landsborough to be exact.
