This “Wildberry Springs” Chardonnay is a masterclass in restrained power and coastal tension — rich yet elegant, with gravel-loam Willyabrup giving depth and minerality. You’ll first meet pure peach, crisp lemon and green apple, balanced by a creamy touch and just a whisper of flint and struck match. The Gin-Gin clone brings definition, while the blend of amphora and oak (30% new) adds layered texture without heavy oak flavour dominating. Partial malolactic fermentation and regular lees stirring soften the edges, delivering a wine of purity, precision and length. Drink now for vibrancy, or cellar up to ten years for further complexity.
