Konpira Maru El Pacu

Ah, the Konpira Maru El Pacu – a delightful white blend from Victoria, Australia. This wine was born from the need for the ultimate wine-food match; a textural white with the vegetarian piranha of Peru. The original incarnation of El Pacu was a skinsy Chardonnay from New England in 2017. In 2021, the blend was elevated with premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Whitlands Plateau, a touch of Riesling from the Mt Bellvue Ridge, Arneis from the banks of Boggy Creek, and a dabble of Sauvignon Blanc from the Grampians. The result is a bright and light white ready for a side of piranha and some fun and breezy times.
