IDDA Bianco Sicilia DOP 2024
In their words - Idda means "She" in Sicilian dialect and is the term that locals use, with affection and admiration, to define Etna. Idda is also the joint project of two families, Gaja and Graci, based on a shared curiosity and a desire to learn and improve.
Vineyards: Located in the municipalities of Biancavilla, on the southwest slope of the Etna volcano, at an average altitude of 700-800 m above sea level.
Vinification: Fermentation for approximately three weeks, followed by aging for 12 months, partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel.
Characteristics: On the nose, hints of white flowers, almonds, and marzipan combine with herbaceous and flint notes. Fresh and savory, it is characterized by a pleasant sweetness combined with good acidity.
