Hudelot-Noellat Vougeot 1er Petits Vougoet 2023

The style of the Domaine is defined by elegance and purity. Since 2008 Charles Van Canneyt, (grandson of founder Alain Hudelot) has managed this iconic 10 hectare Cote de Nuit estate.  The vineyard of this 1er Cru “Les Petits Vougeot” is ideally located just below the Musigny Grand Cru. Furthermore, the Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is to its left and the Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru “Amoureuses” is on its right. These are indeed great neighbours to have!

A fresh ruby, slightly the densest of the colours to date and with a concentration of fruit to match. On the cusp of red and black fruit, with a suave texture in the mouth, a little layer of velvet, notable persistence with fruit returning well after the finish.
