The terroir of Heggies is evident in the Riesling; the wine has a strong mineral character from the quartz, which forms the underbed of the vineyard. Fragrant citrus blossom and lime zest with hints of lemongrass and bath salts. Fine, elegant restraint and drive of natural acidity through the length of the palate. Flavours of citrus curd, fresh lemon and lime zest, perfectly in balance with the refreshing slatey texture, linger on the finish.
