Graci Etna Rosso DOC 2023

How good are the wines from Mt Etna, we can't get enough of them, especially ones of this quality at this price.  One of only 3 wineires to own 100+ old bush vines, Alberto Graci believes in organic farming, open-top wooden and concrete fermenters, creating pure and elegant reflective of the Etna Contrada’s minerality.

In their words -  Some violet and balsamic notes on the nose.  The palate is all about intense black forest fruits, perfectly ripe, crunchy, minerally and spicy. The tannins are fine and chalky with good acidity and length.  Classic red fermentation in vertical wooden ‘tini’ (conical in shape), with maceration on the skin for 10 days.

18 months in wooden fermenters and in concrete tanks, during which malolactic fermentation occurred naturally.
