Fleet Lichen Pinot Gris

This Pinot Gris is all about texture, weight, and drinkability, crafted from fruit grown by Clare Burder and her family at their High Plateau vineyard in Whitlands. A blend of two parts—30% whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented, with 70% de-stemmed and fermented on skins for 21 days. The skin contact adds a beautiful texture, and the wine is aged in neutral puncheons with lees stirring to build even more complexity. Expect a bright pink-peach colour and aromas of pear, watermelon, and a touch of ginger spice. On the palate, it's perfectly balanced with a lovely mouthfeel, dry and thirst-quenching, followed by a long, zippy acidity that keeps you coming back for more.
