Domaine Etienne Sauzet Puligny Montrachet 2023
Critics thoughts - Note: from 8 different lieux-dits though Les Meix, located just below Pucelles, is the largest contributor. Smoky aromas of acacia blossom, just sliced apple and a whiff of grated zest are complemented by more voluminous and richer medium weight flavors that possess a succulent mid-palate that contrasts mildly with the clean, dry and youthfully austere finale. This too could use better depth so at least a few years of keeping are recommended. Worth a look. Burghound Outstanding!
A pale lemon and lime. Super clear. The bouquet needs a little coaxing, with a citrus touch, exceptionally precise and refined, like the Chassagne shows its class and style much more on the palate. Middleweight, very persistent. I can see how this would grow as you work your way down the bottle. Drink from 2027-2030. Tasted Oct 2024. 92 Points Jasper Morris
