The Roulot family has a long history making exquisite fruit Eaux de Vie and, more recently, fruit liqueur. They were granted distilling permits in 1879. Today, Jean-Marc Roulot continues the tradition whilst enabling evolution and improvements. 

Precise expression, rich, powerful and at the same time delicate, it is a real pleasure to finish a meal on such a beautiful note. It is a hyphen between an eau de vie and a liqueur, a refreshing in-between where the delicate bitterness of lemon zest comes to support an end of the mouth more on the pulp of the fruit, tonic and persistent. Critics thoughts - Made from Sicilian lemons, from two picks separated by a month, with the intent of blending the energy of the earlier pick with the greater concentration of the second pick. The production method here calls for a combination of macerated whole lemons and distilled lemon zest. In tasting, the Citron is super-rich and concentrated, but with inner beams of brightness that cut through the fruit.  Lemon confit, sage, lemongrass, mint and sweet floral accents abound.
