Domaine Ponsot Bourgogne Cuvee du Pinson 2014

In their words - Since 2017, this wine has often been one of Domaine Ponsot’s smallest cuvées in volume. There is a reason for this: it is produced with young vines from our Morey Saint Denis or Gevrey-Chambertin appellations that reclassify into the lower Bourgogne appellation.

Critics thoughts - An agreeably fresh nose offers up notes of red currant, cherry and soft earth scents. There is good detail to the delicious flavors that possess a lovely texture while delivering solid persistence on the ever-so-mildly austere finish where a touch of bitter cherry appears. Solid quality here. *Outstanding. Top value* 2021+ Burghound
