Domaine Didier Dagueneau Silex 2022

This is Silex, Dagueneau’s crown jewel. Sourced from flint-laced soils on Saint-Andelain’s north-facing slopes, it’s intense, cerebral, and electric from the first pour. Smoky minerality, citrus oils, florals, even a whisper of amaro all swirl in a wine that feels more White Burgundy than Loire classic. Made with tiny yields, fermented in cigar-shaped barrels, and aged on lees, it’s a study in texture and restraint. Coiled and regal when young, it unfurls over time into something transcendent.
