Corrado Tonelli Visner di Pergola Selezione Vino di Visciole 2024
In their words -Â Hand-harvested from wild Prunus Cerasus sour cherries in the hilly woodlands of Pesaro, Visner is a rare and traditional liqueur-wine, deeply rooted in Marcheâs culinary heritage. These intensely tart cherries are de-stemmed, meticulously cleaned, and steeped in local Montepulciano and Sangiovese red wine, along with cane sugar a ritual of balance and patience.
Â
Fermented slowly over 4â5 months and aged to mellow depth, Visner emerges as a deep ruby-red nectar, rich in aromas of sour cherry preserve, wildflowers, and dried herbs. The palate is harmonious, full-bodied, and slightly bitter, with a bright, floral lift and a dry, elegant finish.
Â
Itâs a cultural artefact, protected and recognized by Italyâs Ministry of Agriculture since 2000. Every sip tells the story of Marcheâs rural craftsmanship, where wild fruit meets soulful winemaking.
Â
This is not your typical dessert wine, itâs bold yet refined, meditative yet sociable, and deeply expressive of its land.
