ChaLou Chardonnay 2025

Crafted by the talented duo of Nadja Wallington and Steve Mobbs in the high-altitude vineyards of Orange, this is a wine that celebrates finesse, freshness and beautiful fruit purity.

The nose is bright and inviting, with fresh grapefruit, ripe lemon and crisp orchard fruits mingling with delicate white florals and a gentle whisper of spice. There's a lovely richness to the palate, with juicy stone fruit, citrus pith and subtle roasted nuts bringing plenty of flavour without weighing things down. Thoughtfully integrated oak adds a gentle creaminess and just enough complexity to keep things interesting. 

What really makes this Chardonnay sing is its vibrant natural acidity, bringing a wonderful sense of energy and precision to every sip.  A delicate mineral character runs through the wine, beautifully balancing its soft texture and generous fruit.  The finish is long, focused and refreshingly elegant, with lingering citrus and a subtle savoury edge.  A beautifully considered Chardonnay that delivers all the sophistication of great cool-climate winemaking without any unnecessary fuss.
