Sourced from vines planted in 1994 on volcanic limestone soils, this release greets you with a fragrant swirl of black cherry, plum, black olive and lavender, underpinned by pepper spice and mineral intrigue. The subtle 2–4 % Viognier co-ferment lifts the perfume and smooths the texture, while medium‑full body, silky acidity and savoury tannins keep things balanced. Matured for 18 months in French oak (20 % new), it finishes fresh, elegant and utterly moreish. A disciplined cool‑climate Shiraz that seduces without shouting.
