Bannockburn Serre Pinot Noir 2025

Serré is one of Australia’s oldest high-density Pinot plantings, with tiny yields producing a wine of serious depth and concentration.


Dark cherry and plum lead the way, joined by dried herbs, exotic spice and beautifully judged oak.  The palate is powerful but wonderfully composed, with layers of dark fruit wrapped around firm, fine-grained tannins.


There’s plenty of richness here, but fresh acidity keeps everything precise and beautifully balanced.  A little whole-cluster fermentation brings extra spice and savoury detail, while French oak adds polish and structure.  The finish is long, focused and beautifully defined, with fruit, spice and earthy complexity lingering together.


A proper cellar-worthy Pinot that manages to bring plenty of muscle without losing its manners.
