Armand Heitz Chassagne Montrachet Maltroie 1er 2020
In their words - This Chassagne-Montrachet comes from ‘La Maltroie’, a Premier Cru vineyard ideally located near the family house’s garden. It is also the parcel from which Armand Heitz made his first vintage back in 2013. Aged for 11 months in French oak barrels, the wine is rich and aromatic, with an ageing potential of up to 15 years.
Critics thoughts - Mid lemon, a slightly subdued nose, competent if slightly lacking personality, middle weight and I like the quite generous finish. White fruit, good acid balance and relatively persistent. 91 points Jasper Morris
