Here’s a seriously delicious slice of Clare Valley goodness. This Shiraz Mataro blend is built on old-vine magic, with some of the Shiraz vines dating back over 100 years — no big deal! Wild fermentation, gentle handling, and a bit of concrete and oak work give it a vibrant, layered personality. You’ll find a gorgeous parade of blueberries, raspberries, dried herbs, and a cheeky touch of salted liquorice. There’s a lovely earthiness in the background too — think dried roses, savoury meats and a whisper of eucalyptus. Tannins? Silky but with plenty of grip to keep things interesting. It’s a red that feels both plush and seriously structured — a wine nerd’s dream that’s also just plain fun to drink.
