Critics thoughts - Adelina’s Col McBryde is a master of tannin. All of his red wines seem unashamedly tannic in a beautifully integrated and harmonious way. This wine shows a touch too much coffeed oak, or at least its coffeed oak influence is clear, even if there isn’t a great deal of it. But the progression of the mid-weight palate, the cherry-plum-and-smoked-earth flavours, and the mint, plum and coffee flavours through the finish are all tied together by the impressive press of dry, film-grain tannin.
