Adelina Estate Introspect Field Blend 2022

Welcome to the wonderfully quirky world of Adelina Introspect Field Blend, where the unexpected is celebrated! Sourced from the certified organic Block 1 vineyard in the Clare Valley, this wine is a true field blend, created from a randomised mix of Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro, Ugni Blanc, Roussanne, and Carignan. Originally planted to Cabernet in 1976, the vineyard was grafted over in 2015 to create this one-of-a-kind combination.

What’s in the glass? A perfume explosion of strawberries, cherries, white flowers, mint, orange peel, and a hint of aniseed. On the palate, you’ll find juicy red fruit with a soft sappy acidity, balanced by peppery tannins and a touch of honey sweetness. It’s a wine that defies categorisation, yet is irresistibly charming and totally delightful.
