Scorpo Noirien Pinot Noir

This Scorpo “Noirien” Pinot Noir 2023 is like wandering through a forest in early spring—ruby and alive with every sip. It opens with lifted aromas of sour red cherry and wild strawberry with hints of violet, wild herbs and light floral spice. On the palate, fruit is bright and juicy, tempered by a savoury edge: olive, beetroot, and a little pinch of brown spice. Tannins are fine, a little chalky, giving structure without weight. The oak influence is modest (just under 12% new French oak), letting the pure fruit and terroir shine through. Refreshing acidity and a dry, savoury-tinged finish make this a red you want now, and one that will evolve beautifully over a few years.
