Patrick Sullivan Bull Swamp Chardonnay 2023

Single vineyard Chardonnay from 40 year old vines, low yield means high concentration of fruit. There is a tightness of citrus that opens up beautifully into white florals with a rich, brioche aroma. Notes of pears, candied lime and hazelnut make for an opulent drop with undeniable minerality and persistent quality that will benefit cellaring.

The fruit is hand harvested into 15kg baskets and crushed as whole clusters before draining. Fermented in 30% new oak barriques over 3 weeks, followed by full malolactic fermentation.
