Yalumba The Virgilius Viognier
100% Viognier, half from vines planted in 1980 and half from a vineyard of clone that was planted in 2004. Fermented and matured for 10 months in mature French oak barriques and puncheons. The aromas of white flowers, apricots and cardamom are intense, rounded out by the spice of white pepper and fresh ginger. The palate is layered with minerality, sourdough-like texture, apricots and almond savouriness.
