Introducing the second vintage of Vasse Felix's limited release Chardonnay, Single Plot DHJ1. Grown on a unique parcel in the Wallcliffe area, 'J Plot' is nestled between Boodjidup Creek and the vineyard dam, yielding vibrant fruit amidst coarse ironstone gravel loam. Virginia and her team were struck by its jasmine floral scents, oyster-like salinity, and limestone minerality, leading to its special bottling. Aged in older oak, this Chardonnay celebrates elegance, finesse, and natural acidity, offering a pristine expression of the varietal.

Prepare for an intense perfume on the nose, with subtle lemon pith and beach sand notes evolving into floral fragrances of frangipani and jasmine. The palate delivers a fleshy weight driven by single plot fruit quality, offering hints of lemon custard, yellow rose petals, and a dry, pithy finish.
