Southern Light Vineyards Ghostgum Pinot Noir 2021

Vines planted on old orchard land, Pinot Noir from Main Ridge; 'up the hill' on the Mornington Peninsula. Situated on the highest elevation, on an East facing slope. This cool climate wine is reminiscent of Burgundian Pinot, and is a delight to drink.

Loads of dark cherries, red fruits and rose petals, coco powder and orange peel, just to start. This wine is so lively and floral with a richness that is beautifully balanced with its  fresh acidity. Delightful drinking now and will open and give even more with a few years of cellaring.
