A blend of 50% Nero d’Avola, 25% Merlot, 20% Syrah, and 5% Cabernet Franc. Named after the woods surrounding Planeta's Ulmo vineyard, this wine embodies the essence of Sicilian terroir. Cultivated sustainably and organically, the vines benefit from diverse soil compositions and optimal altitudes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats to preserve its fresh, fruity character, and matured similarly to enhance its flavours. It features aromas of currants and mulberries, complemented by spicy and minted notes. On the palate, it presents ripe wild fruit flavours, balanced by a full and grassy taste with smooth tannins, making it versatile for daily drinking.
