Inama Vin Soave Classico 2024

Inama has spent decades arguing—very convincingly—that serious Soave begins in the old hillside vineyards of the Classico zone. Garganega grown on volcanic soils is fermented and matured in stainless steel, keeping the wine close to the vineyard and away from unnecessary oak.

Pear and yellow apple are gently perfumed by chamomile and elderflower. Beneath the fruit sits a mineral, almost salty line, followed by the almond-like note that Garganega wears so well. Calm, fragrant and quietly persistent, this has considerably more depth than its easy manner first suggests.
