Tolpuddle Pinot Noir 2023

The palate is packed with everything you expect in a world-class Pinot Noir; a dance of juicy cherries, warm spice, forest floor and mushroom umami character, gamey roast meats and a delicate bouquet of violets is drawn together by velvety tannic structure and a wonderful acidity. All grapes were hand-picked and fermented using a small percentage of whole bunch in an open fermenter. The wine was gently punched down and pumped over through fermentation and aged for 10 months in French oak (33% new French Oak).

The 2023 vintage of Tolpuddle's Pinot Noir has truly set the standard for what Australia can produce. The wines produced and released from Tasmania's Coal River Valley are rapidly stealing Australia's spotlight for the best wines produced with the classic Burgundian grapes, and if you tasted this you would see why!
