Sato LFDS Sous Bois Cab Franc 2022

From superstar winemaker Yoshiaki and his wife Kyoko, the Sato vineyard was established in 2016 on an old sheep farm in the sub-region of Pisa. The tiny 0.25Ha Cabernet Franc is farmed organically, the wine is unfined, unfiltered and vegan friendly.

Critics thoughts - Subtle and focused with precise blackberry, walnut, bark and mushroom character on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, it’s linear and lightly chewy, giving this length and tension. So fascinating to taste and think about. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
