Sato LFDS Le Chant du Vent Chardonnay 2023

From superstar winemaker Yoshiaki and his wife Kyoko, the La Ferme de Sato (LFDS) vineyard was established in 2016 on an old sheep farm in the sub-region of Pisa. The small planting of 0.95Ha of Chardonnay is farmed organically, the wine is unfined, unfiltered and vegan friendly.  316 dozen of 2023 released.

Critics thoughts -  "Dried-apple and sliced-pear aromas with seashells and flint follow through to a full body with density and lightness at the same time. It develops beautifully in the glass with apple pie, smoke and hints of ginger. The persistent finish has just the right amount of bitterness and salted butter at the end. Drink or hold.
