Palmer & Co Blanc de Blanc Champagne NV

The nose displays white peach blossom, apple blossom & watsonia. The grapes come from Trépail, Villers Marmery and Côte de Sézannais. There are flavours of white nectarines, white peach, new pineapple and pear with mineral notes and chalky characters. Layers of blanched cashews, white almonds flash through the palate, along with the limestone characters. It is buttery and rich showing the 5 years on lees and comes from the 2015 base. It has great blending, well balanced, with a delightful finesse and a hint of sappiness. Ideal wine for a hot Queensland day!
