Combier Crozes Hermitage 'Cuvee L' Syrah 2024

In their words - The "Cuvée L" Crozes-Hermitage was born in 1999 with the arrival of the first concrete eggs. Made primarily from young vines, it is the quintessential "pleasure" cuvée—a wine Laurent wanted to be accessible to everyone. Freshness, fruitiness, and a delicious, generous character define this wine in every vintage.

A blend of estate-grown young vines and purchased grapes, sourced from various communes in the southern part of the appellation.  Fermentation in temperature-controlled 50-hectolitre concrete tanks.  Fully destemmed; pumped over morning and evening.  Aged for 8 to 10 months: 70% in egg-shaped concrete tanks and 30% in barrels and *demi-muids* (600L casks) over 8 years old.
